ABOUT SOME FEATURES OF THE BOWING TECHNIQUE OF A DOUBLE BASS PLAYER (RIGHT HAND SETTING)

Abstract: Questions of setting the right hand of a bowed string instrument performer traditionally are the object of interest to both experienced specialists and beginner musicians. Despite the significant number of methodological works of outstanding string teachers, as well as the studies of young teachers, the problem of the rational control of motor processes continues to be relevant in teaching practice.

In the present paper, through the example of considering specific techniques of performance with a French style bow, the author raises the issue of their applicability, and thus of the mastering the complex sound-extraction technology. The author carries out the analysis of the peculiarities of certain physiological aspects of the double bass player right hand setting, which are described in published domestic works. The main purpose of this article is to summarize the methodological research in the field of staging work of a double bass player, illustrating pedagogical innovations and modern approaches to the performing practice.
